BEST DRESSED: GOLDEN GLOBES 2011
We were delighted to see the varied spectrum of colors that fluttered down the red carpet at this year's Golden Globes. And while we continue to gush about the winners, we took a day to marinate on the gowns before selected those special looks that were imprinted in our memory. So without further ado, read on for who made our best dressed list: ANNE HATHAWAY - in Giorgio Armani
I mean, just look at her! Hathaway dazzled in a champagne sequin adorned gown that was honestly the show stopper of the evening. [Snaps for Rachel Zoe!] Can't wait to see her Oscars changes.
CLAIRE DANES - in Calvin Klein Collection
Had a star-struck moment when Danes, in her perfect pop of pink gown, stood a mere 5 feet away from us at the In Style Golden Globes After Party (Golden Globe in tow). She was radiant.
MILA KUNIS - in Vera Wang
Emerald greens were a trend this year, and Kunis' asymmetrical Vera Wang number was one of our favorites. Not that her large eyes needed any help, but the gown extracted a shocking amount of green from them.
LEIGHTON MEESTER - in Burberry Prorsum
If it's possible to look like a movie star and look comfortable, then Meester was the example of how to do so. Glitzy platforms and gilded accessories amped up her breezy Burberry frock.
MICHELLE WILLIAMS - in Valentino
What we love most about Williams' gown was that it was so quintessentially her. Exuding that balance of darling and chic, and in her own class, Williams stood out in a daisy printed and ruffled Valentino gown.
EMMA STONE - in Calvin Klein Collection
The Easy A Golden Globe nominee was in one of our favorite looks of the moment, a minimalist sleek maxi in a sorbet hue. The peach compliments her fair coloring, and a polished gold clutch was the perfect finishing touch.
HAILEE STEINFELD - in Prabal Gurung
Absolutely loved the simple Prabal Gurung gown the True Grit star wore with an age-appropriate yet modern sleek ponytail. Bravo to her beyond-her-years fashion wisdom.
JENNIFER LAWRENCE - in Louis Vuitton
Drooling: the velvet accents, the sweetheart neckline, the carbon-colored ruffleswe hope Lawrence continues to receive accolades for her work if for no other reason than to see her red carpet style grow.
