LOOK WE LOVE: WHITE LACE
In anticipation of summer's heat, we're being drawn to crisp, fresh white pieces—in particular in sweet, breezy lace finishes. At Dolce & Gabbana, the parade of lace was utterly ethereal. The runway accessorized with touches of gold hardware via cross-body gold chain bags and large gold hoops.
Also spotted in lovely lace was an Olsen—sister Elizabeth in a lace maxi by The Row (appropriately)! Resembling the fresh-faced version of her twin sisters circa 2004, she looked light and laid-back without looking bridal. White lace can obviously run the risk of looking ready to walk down the aisle—avoid by tempering the delicate fabric with casual touches like flat sandals, wooden wedges, and bold gold jewelery.
