ONE TO WATCH: HALEY RAMM
It's a rare combinationyouthful spirit and wise, old soulbut it's a characteristics-pairing immediately recognizable in actress Haley Ramm. To say she's kind is an astronomical understatement, rather, she is sincerely considerate and warma sweet spot in the entertainment industry. Accompanying this sweet disposition is a promising dewy-eyed talent with over 30 projects already under her belt.
Ramm arrives at the shoot in all her dainty, airy splendor clad in a graphic Chanel-branded tank, shorts, and patent leather jazz shoesa staple she has been living in the past few months. It's clear as she squeals over the sequined Alice + Olivia top that she has a keen love and appreciation for fashion. Ramm is a sort of muse to celebrity photographer Tyler Shields and had just done a 1950s shoot the day before her Style FILE shoot. "They had me in this Dolce & Gabbana red velvet dress from the fall collection," she gushes. "I didn't want to take it off!"
Fittingly, Ramm cites 50s and 60s fashion as her style inspiration, her muses being Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor. "I love the glamour of that era. Some of my favorite movies are films whose costumes are designed by Edith Head."
Like her muses, Ramm has the potential to bring the same classic presence to the screen. Fueling this future is her support system of family and friends and her genuine passion for acting. When asked about her biggest career-moment so far, Ramm remarked in regard to her film Skateland, "My greatest acting desire is to work on great indie films and having a film at Sundance was the pinnacle for me!"
Ramm's most recent project, Bond of Silence premieres tonight on Lifetime at 9pm EST/PSTbe sure to tune in! ALLIE WOOD
